Ambitious Open-World Game NEWRP Sets Out To Be The GTA Online Of Android
An upcoming open-world role-playing game seems to be out to make its claim as the GTA Online of the mobile world. The trailer for NEWRP dropped recently, and the game looks to be out to give players a similar experience on the smaller screens.
NEWRP is an ambitious title that drops you and other players into a wide city full of possibilities.
The City Awaits
The game promises a vast metropolis with players taking the roles of all kinds of residents. Police, medics, and of course, criminals. Players will be able to create multiple residents of the city, and complete quests to gain resources.
All of it takes place in a full 3D world with multiple camera view options and graphics settings that are adjustable to match the power of the system.
Of course, every game has its limits. The website has a system requirements checker where you can enter your processor and RAM for it to pass judgment on your specs.
From the trailer, the game’s official social media channels, and the devs’ fairly frequent Q&A responses, we’ve got some clues about promised features.
Cars, motorcycles, boats, and even planes are on the list as upcoming features, along with a drivers’ license feature. This is along with different shops selling clothing, cars, and weapons, and a functional bank. Player houses and businesses are supposedly not out of the question either.
A Big Deal, Or Empty Promises?
So, is it all too good to be true? Of course, any developer can promise you the world. The more freedom you are supposed to have in-game, the more cautious you should be.
We’re going to reserve judgment on the execution until we’ve had a chance to get our hands on the title. If you’d like to do the same, you can sign up for updates on the closed beta via the official website. You can also keep an eye on the official Facebook or Twitter.
We’re interested to see where this goes.
